Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar (ACV) can either can be in the form of unfiltered apple cider vinegar and filtered apple cider vinegar. Both are vinegars made from crashed apple juice.
Unfiltered apple cider vinegar contains traces of the mother i.e. a substance made of friendly bacteria and cellulose. It is the mother that is associated with health benefits. If apple cider vinegar is unfiltered, chances are that it contains little quantities of the mother, it is pasteurized and organic.
